WHO IS MICHAEL RICHARDS?
Michael is A Native American Registered with MooreTown Rancheria out of Oroville, California; a federally recognized tribe. Michael Has been a song writer, composer, lead singer and guitar player for over 25 years. Among his musical accomplishments, Michael Attributes his musical success to his Doors tribute bands, The Northern Doors and The Doors Unlocked, The Generations , a classic rock band and his original rock band; The Band Rising, Produced and lead guitar played by Dave Carlson, who was signed to Warner Brothers with his band The Tazmanian Devil’s. Now Michael has a completely new sound, with his new Country EP, “Leaving California” produced by Steve Stewart on Rodeo Records on sale at CD Baby.
Michael Has always given musical credit to his band mates in his past and present projects for giving him the great melodies to sing to. Michael has played many head line venues, such as: The famous”Mystic Theater”in Petaluma,Ca. The Last day Saloon in Santa Rosa, Ca. Michael has also played at many head line Indian Casinos through out California. Michael’s 2nd love happens to be his spiritual connection to the Red Road, his true Native American Spirituality and Native ways; above all else he credits his musical success to this.
Michael’s Newest venture :The Michael Richards project, and his new Country EP, ” Leaving California” produced by Steve Stewart on Rodeo Records; Was written and composed during his move from California to Texas and describes his adventures on his trip from California to Texas.
